After watching the Flyers’ come from ahead 4-3 OT loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets, it looked at times like the Flyers were more interested in post season tee times than they were in playing post season hockey. The Flyers took a 2-1 lead into the third period, the Blue Jackets hadn’t won when trailing after two yet, when Wayne Simmond’s (20, 21)second goal of the game put the Flyers up 3-1 early in the third, it looked like that win less streak would continue. Unfortunately the Flyers defense forgot how to play defense, and the Blue Jackets scored two in the third to tie it, and one in OT for their first win of the season when trailing after two, and their sixth straight home win against the Flyers. The Flyers drop to 23-22-10, and the Blue Jackets climb to 24-26-3. The Flyers pick up one point and again avoid putting their playoff chances off life support for now.
