The Flyers were playing with fire on Thursday night, and were burned by Johnny Gaudreau, and the Flames 4-1. The Flames scored two goals 1:42 apart late in the second period for a 2-0 lead. Claude Giroux ended a goal scoring drought with a goal with just :09 seconds left in the second to make it 2-1 Flames heading into the third. Unfortunately for the Flyers the Flames scored two third period power play goals to put the game out of reach. Johnny Gaudreau took a Temporary lead in rookie scoring with a goal, and two assists against the team he grew up rooting for. The Flyers drop to 29-29-15, while the Flames improve to 39-27-5.
