The Phillies head into the All-Star break riding a five game losing streak after the Giants completed the sweep on Sunday afternoon with a 4-2 win. The game was scoreless heading into the bottom of the fourth when Brandon Belt beat out what would have been an inning ending double play that set up Brandon Crawford’s RBI single that scored Buster Posey that made it 1-0 Giants. Andrew Susac followed that with a three run homer and just like that the Giants had a 4-0 lead. Ryan Howard knocked in both of the Phillies’ runs with a RBI single in the seventh, and another in the ninth. The Phillies fall to 29-62 and now own the worse record in team history at the break. The Giants win their third straight and improve to 46-43.
