The Phillies losing streak against the Brewers continues, it is now up to six games after Saturday night’s 4-2 loss to the Brewers. The Phillies went up 1-0 in the first on a RBI single by Ryan Howard that scored Odubel Herrera. Chase Utley’s (5) solo home run in the third put the Phillies up 2-0. Unfortunately for the Phillies that’s all of the offense they would get despite the opportunities, left nine on base. The Brewers came back to tie it in the fifth on RBI singles by Scooter Gennett, and Elian Herrera. Jean Segura singled home Scooter Gennett in the seventh to break the 2-2 tie, and put the Brewers up 3-2. Scooter Gennett ended the scoring with a RBI single in the eighth. The Phillies drop to 46-71, and the Brewers are now 50-68.
