The Phillies snapped their three game losing streak by beating the Cubs by the score of 7-5 on Saturday night. Kyle Schwarber hit his third home run in the last two games in the third inning top give the Cubs a 1-0 lead. It stayed that way until the bottom of the seventh when the Phillies put five runs up to take a 5-1 lead. The lead idn’t last long as the Cubs responded with four runs in the top of the eighth to tie it at 5-5.Cody Asche became the hero for the night hitting a two run walk off home run to give the Phillies the 7-5 win. The Phillies are now 55-88, while the Cubs drop to 82-59.
