The Flyers finished up their three game road trip  with their first win in Western Canada in three season by beating the Canucks 3-2 on Sunday night. The flyers jumped out to a 3-0 lead on goals by Wayne Simmonds, JakubVoracek, and Brayden Schenn while Flyers D Shane Gostisbehere had his first three point night in the NHL with assists on all three goals. Markus Granlund, Jannick Hansen scored for the Canucks to make it 3-2 after two but couldn’t get the tying goal. The Flyer send a two game losing streak and improve to 28-24-7 (28-31),and the Canucks drop to 26-28-6 (28-34) with the loss.
