The NHL regular season has ended and now it’s time for The Small Sports Blog to hand it’s infamous Toilet Bowl Award to the team that finished dead last in the NHL for the 2016/17 season. So with out further delay The Small Sports Blog would like to present the Colorado Avalanche with the The Small Sports Blog Toilet Bowl Award for being the worse team in the NHL for the 2016/17 season. The reward for finishing last is having the best odds to win the #1 pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. With a little luck  the Avalanche could go from bottom of the barrel to one of the scariest teams heading into the playoffs like the Edmonton Oilers.
