It started off well enough with the Eagles taking a 17-0 lead over that team in Washington with no last name. Carson Wentz started off hot going 14-18, 174 yards, and 2 TD’s, but that Carson Wentz disappeared. The Wentz that appeared after that went 10-24, 96 yards, and 2 INT’s, and a fumble. Call it a meltdown or a collapse, but it looked like this team just didn’t want to play after they took the lead. Considering the injuries on the o-line you would think the backups would be better than they are, granted it was the first game for a couple of them. Bottom line is the 27-17 loss to the team with no last name falls on Carson Wentz and his turnovers. If your a n Eagles fan like The Small Sports Blog it would be a good idea to stay away from highlights, and call in shows, because it is going to be a long week.
