Round 2 saw the Phillies nine game winning streak against the Mets come to an end. Its not like the Mets beat the Phillies they only had 5 hits, 2 doubles and 3 singles,but the other way around, the Phillies beat themselves with 9 walks and 4 errors. The 4 errors coming in a six run third inning for the Mets. You could say the Philles as a team suffered a severe brain cramp, the pitchers forgetting the strike zone, and the fielders forgetting how to field the ball, especially Eric Bruntlett who committed 2 of the 4 errors. Hopefully this wasn’t the real Kyle Kendrick.It was one of those games that make you wonder what the Phillies were actually working on in spring training. Oh well, time to start another winning streak against the Mets.
