In case you haven’t heard yet thanks to the new 25 year deal between the Phillies and Comcast Chris Wheeler and Gary Mathews will no longer be in the booth doing Phillies games. Scott Franzke, and Larry Anderson will continue on the radio, Greg Murphy will still do whatever it is he does, and Tom McCarthy has four years left on his contract and will return to the booth. The T.V. booth will consist of Tom McCarthy doing play by play , and one yet to be named color analyst. Chris Wheeler, and Gary Mathews will remain with the Phillies in other capacities. It will be somewhat of a Happy New Year for Phillies fans.
