The Flyers were home against the Montreal Canadiens having won their last two games on their road trip. The Flyers jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one period on Sean Couturier’s 8th goal, and Zac Rinaldo’s 1st goal of the season. Michael Raffl put the Flyers up 3-0 with his 3rd goal in the second period. Tomas Plekanec cut it to 3-1 with a shorthanded goal late in the second, but that was the end of the scoring, and the Flyers won their third straight overall, and their tenth straight at home. the Flyers improve to 23-17-4.
