The 76ers had an eight point lead, 28-20, over the Knicks  after the first quarter. Unfortunately for the 76ers the Knicks woke up and outscored the 76ers 32-12 in the second, and put the 76ers in  a hole they couldn’t get out of and take the first of four meetings 102-92. The Knicks (14-22) pick up their fourth straight win while handing the 76ers (12-25) their fourth straight  loss. The Knicks and 76ers will meet for the second time on Jan. 22 in New York.
