The Flyers 10 game home winning streak came to an end with a 6-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning in a Saturday matinee. The Lightning took a 1-0 lead into the second period when both teams decided to skip the defense and combined to score 7 goals with the Lightning taking a 5-3 lead into the third. Ray Emery replaced Steve Mason after he gave up 5 goals on just 17 shots. The Lightning ended the scoring with an empty net goal. Lightning goal scorers: Alex Killorn (11), Teddy Purcell (9), Ryan Malone 2(5), Valtteri Filppula (18), Martin St. Louis (20). Flyers goal scorers: Jakub Voracek 2 (12), Wayne Simmonds (15).
