
The Phillies and Mets met for the final time this season on Sunday afternoon with the Phillies coming away with a 10-7 win. The Mets jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first on home runs by Wilson Ramos (14), and Robinson Cano (12). The Phillies got on the board with a run in the third on Jean Segura’s sacrifice fly. They made it 3-2 in the fourth on Adam Haseley’s (4) home run, then took a 4-3 lead in the fifth on Corey Dickerson’s two run single. The Mets tied it in the bottom of the fifth on a Brandon Nimmo RBI single. The Phillies went up 7-4 in the sixth on Phil Gosselin’s RBI single, and Maikel Franco’s (16) two run homer. A Wilson Ramos ground out, and a Robinson Cano sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth cut it to 7-6. The Phillies went up 10-6 in the seventh on a Scott Kingery (18) two run homer, and a Bryce Harper based loaded walk. The ended the scoring in the bottom of the seventh on Joe Panik’s RBI single.
